*If you plan on sharing the room with someone, one person pays the VIP and the other pays Standard Admission. If you want to split the VIP fee, you must work it out between the two of you.

When do you recommend flying in and out for the event?

We recommend flying in Thursday and departing Sunday morning. Another note: For your departure on Sunday, arriving at the airport two hours prior to your flight is plenty of time.

What should I bring to the event?

Bring comfortable and casual clothing, swim suits, laptop, something to take notes with, and all other travel essentials.

What transportation options are available?

Uber and Lyft are very prominent. It will cost roughly $50 each way to and from the airport, depending on surcharges. All major rental car companies are available (book ahead of time). If you want to rent a car, we recommend Turo as they are usually less expensive than traditional car rental.

What lodging do you recommend?

Downtown Austin is a safe bet. Attendees will get a more detailed onboarding packet that will include all kinds of travel tid bits, including recommended lodging.

Will there be “down time” to enjoy the pool or explore the city?

The only scheduled “down time” is on the first day (Friday) where we scheduled in some pool time starting at 4pm. We don’t have anything officially scheduled for that Friday evening so you are welcome to explore that night. Outside of that, we recommend extending your trip to explore.

I’m interested in the VIP spot. Can I split with another person?

Yes! The VIP spots are sold as rooms vs. per person. If you don’t mind sharing a room with someone, we don’t mind. Just let us know who you are sharing with. Only one person needs to pay for the VIP spot. As far as splitting, you work it out amongst yourselves. Note: Some rooms may only have one bed and some rooms share a bathroom.

How far is the airport and downtown to the event venue?

It’s about a 15-20 minute drive to and from the airport. And it’s 5 minutes to South Congress in downtown Austin.

Why do you keep the Saturday night experience a secret?

We are striving for our DROP events to be an experience like no other you’d get at a mastermind. We are going to always do something different and we feel like the mysterious element adds to the experience.

Do I need to prepare for the Saturday night experience?

For this particular DROP, you’ll want to wear comfortable and casual clothing (not too casual like PJs or sweat pants). For context, jeans and a t-shirt would be okay. Other than that, just bring yourself.
